Cambridge is a brilliant place to meet students from all over the world. But it can be difficult for both UK and overseas students to get to know each other. As a CU, we are excited about the opportunities to meet and share the gospel with international students, and so we have a number of different events to help us do that.
A number of one-off events which replace the Globe Cafe from Easter 2008. For more information, contact either Alice Bagnall or David Weston.
Harry's is an evangelistic coffee bar run by CICCU for international language students. Go along to the Henry Martyn Hall 5–7pm on Fridays to help out. Contact Kirsty McKane for more info or to get involved.
These are an opportunity to hear and pray about God's work around the world over breakfast. For details see the term diary.
Individual college groups have their own "int reps" who have the particular responsibility to co-ordinate outreach to international students at a college group level. Your int rep is a useful point of contact if you're interested in finding out about international outreach in Cambridge—they can help you get in touch with others with a similar interest, and can provide info about upcoming events for international students. You can find college reps' details via the Colleges page, or else contact Paul Holland (Trinity Hall)
